Williams has another pop at Tiger

Tiger Woods will face off with former best friend Steve Williams in the first round of the Presidents Cup today - but their war of words may not be over.

Kiwi Williams was forced to apologise last week after making a racially charged comment against his former employer.

He met with Woods to say sorry in person after considerable criticism over his 'black arsehole' statement.

But in an interview due to be shown around the world today the caddy has continued to criticise Woods for the infidelity which led to his divorce.

"I just didn't like having my name associated with it. That sort of activity is not something that I have anything to do with," the New Zealand bagsman said.

He also maintained he knew nothing of what Woods was up to during their long career together.

"I don't agree with that sort of behaviour. I mean, I would have been strongly giving my piece of advice. I guess I thought I knew him well, and I didn't," Williams said.

In the interview, which was recorded before last week's furore, Williams also casts doubts over Woods' ability to pass Jack Nicklaus' record of 18 major championships.

If nothing else, the latest swing should guarantee a bumper crowd when Tiger and Williams' new employer, Adam Scott, tee off this afternoon.
