Tottenham plan shock raid for Arsenal striker Chamakh Updated August 21, 2012, 10:05 am

Tottenham are planning a shock raid on Arsenal for striker Marouane Chamakh.

The Daily Mail says Chamakh could be in line for a shock move to north London rivals Tottenham.

Andre Villas-Boas is desperate to bolster his strikeforce before the end of the month as he has just one recognised senior striker in Jermain Defoe.

And Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger left Moroccan striker Chamakh out of the squad to face Sunderland on Saturday as they try to set up a loan deal.
