Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas wants official action taken against Charlie Adam for the Liverpool midfielder's tackle on Gareth Bale.
The new Spurs boss was fuming as a so-called friendly was overshadowed when the Liverpool man crocked Bale.
A source told The Sun: "The manager was horrified by the tackle and thinks it is one of the most cowardly tackles he has seen.
"He believes Adam could have pulled away if he wanted to.
"The manager is determined to report Adam."
The pair have a history of bad blood from May last year when Adam was at Blackpool and appeared to stamp on the Spurs player.
