AS Roma goalkeeper Alexander Doni will complete his mooted move to Liverpool today says his agent.

The 31-year old Brazilian goalkeeper has been linked with the Reds for a few weeks now but it appeared as though their initial approach had fallen over earlier in the summer.

But Doni's representative, Ovidio Colucci, is confident a deal will be done by the end of Thursday.

"We should close the deal by the end of the day," Colucci told Impero Romanista.

"Of course anything could happen before the signatures are added to the contracts but I can confirm that there is only Liverpool for Doni.

"The only concrete offer has come from Liverpool and we hope to wrap everything up by this evening."
