Wellington Phoenix striker Stein Huysegems has recovered from an ankle complaint and will be on the bench for the A-League match against to Perth Glory on Saturday night.

The Belgian international, who has been in good form since joining the Phoenix, with three goals in six appearances, missed the 3-0 win over the Newcastle last weekend because of the injury.

"Stein is fine and has come through the last three days' training without a problem," coach Ricki Herbert said.

"We will ease him back into it and coming off the bench means he will go whatever distance we need."

Herbert has gone for an unchanged starting 11 for the match in Perth.

The only concern in his squad is Solomon Islands striker Benji Totori, who proved a handful for Newcastle when he came off the bench.

Totori rolled an ankle during training on Thursday and sat out the session in Perth on Friday.

Herbert said Totori would be given every chance to prove his fitness but the prospects did not look good.

The match kicks off just before midnight (NZ time).

Wellington Phoenix: Mark Paston, Leo Bertos, Andrew Durante (captain), Ben Sigmund, Tony Lochhead, Manny Muscat, Vince Lia, Alex Smith, Louis Fenton, Paul Ifill, Jeremy Brockie. Substitutes: Tyler Boyd, Ricardo Clarke, Glen Moss, Benji Totori.
