Portsmouth have snapped up Queens Park Rangers starlet Frankie Sutherland.

The 18-year-old midfielder is a product of the Hoops' youth system and was handed a two-year contract extension in the summer.

The Irish youth international had attracted interested from a number of clubs, and QPR have now sanctioned a temporary move to Fratton Park.

He has joined Portsmouth on an initial month-long deal, but that could be extended.
