Chelsea chief Michael Emenalo remains keen on Bayer Leverkusen striker Andre Schurrle.

The Germany international attracted an offer from Chelsea in August and remains on Emenalo's shopping list.

German sources say Chelsea had scouts posted to see Schurrle star and score in Bayer's 2-0 win over Schalke on the weekend.

Discussing Chelsea's failed €25 million offer for him, the youngster said: "It would have been very interesting. Such an opportunity is unlikely to happen many times in life."
