Kevin Prince Boateng has called on AC Milan fans to get behind coach Massimiliano Allegri.

Milan fans are furious over the squad's massive clearout this summer.

"It's true, our team has changed, it has become younger," the Ghanaian midfielder told Milan Channel.

"Before, there were great, established champions here, and now we have the task of showing the Coach [Allegri] that we're here to accomplish things.

"For him, too, it's an occasion to create something important and we must follow him."
