Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini admits he needs top quality to improve on his existing squad.

Mancini hopes to add to his squad in "the next two weeks".

He believes that City do not need to make wholesale additions this summer.

Mancini said: "We have a lot of players, I don't think we need ten new ones. We need to improve some positions, but I won't say two, three, one.

"Any new player must come here and help the team improve. We are talking to some players, but the market is difficult so we need more time."
