West Bromwich Albion have revived interest in Werder Bremen striker Markus Rosenberg.

The 29-year-old had been talking to ambitious Italian side Pescara but they have given up after being told the player wanted to join Albion, says the Daily Mail.

Rosenberg is a free agent and also held talks with Swansea City and Fulham.
