Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye is excited about their Europa League campaign.

Cabaye believes that testing themselves against some of Europe's best teams will be great for the club and its supporters.

"Playing in Europe next season is massive for the Club and massive for the players as it shows progression," he told Newcastle's official website.

"We have to play in these sort of competitions for the experience. It can only be a good thing for us as a squad.

"And the fans will love it too. I can't wait for a European night in our stadium - it will be great.

"It will be really important to play well in this competition and I'm sure we can do well."
