Porto chiefs are being tipped off by intermediaries to expect a bid from Chelsea for Hulk.

A Bola says Chelsea have given up on Edinson Cavani after Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis slapped a €100 million price-tag on his head and will now switch attention to Hulk.

Agents have told Porto that Chelsea are now ready to make a formal bid for the Brazilian.

Despite a raft of new signings this summer, Chelsea have yet to land the centre-forward required to replace Blues legend Didier Drogba.
