Former England coach Fabio Capello has held talks with Tottenham.

The Daily Star says Capello is in talks with Tottenham over becoming their new boss, according to reports.

The Italian is thought to have begun discussions with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy last week, just after the north London side sacked Harry Redknapp.

Although Spurs have targeted former Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas and Everton's David Moyes for the post, it seems Capello has emerged as front-runner to take the White Hart Lane hot-seat.
