Carter decision should have been clear cut

Newstalk ZB - November 8, 2009, 11:40 am

The All Blacks have beaten Wales 19-12 in Cardiff, but it is a Daniel Carter tackle that has the Welsh camp fired up.

The All Black first-five appeared to hit Welsh replacement halfback Martin Roberts with a high shot as he came back to defend, following a break by winger Shane Williams.

Welsh coach Warren Gatland feels the decision should have been clear cut.

Gatland says it should have been a penalty and yellow card.

Welsh defensive coach Shaun Edwards was keen to have his say on the matter as well.

Edwards is adamant they should have been playing against 14 men for the final 10 minutes.

Daniel Carter was roundly booed for the final ten minutes of the game and then to add insult to Welsh injury, was named man of the match.

Welsh are sore losers. We would still still beat them even if we had 14 on the field

It's over move on......Wales are the architects of their own misfortune. They talked all the talk, they even had a life coach ( what a joke) and they had built up their expectations but fell short, oh dear. Remember this is test match rugby and at this level all teams play right to the edge ...
