Wellington rugby coach Jamie Joseph is claiming the Canterbury side tends to be favoured by the refs when it comes to making tight calls.
Joseph is urging referee Vinny Munro to be consistent when he polices the breakdown in Saturday night's Air New Zealand Cup final in Christchurch. He says historically Canterbury seems to get best of the refereeing.
"I've found that they've always had the 50/50 decisions go their way. Certainly in the final last year there were a number of marginal calls"
Joseph also wants the team which gains dominance at scrum time to enjoy the the benefits that should come with it.

Joseph is already making excuses for losing the game. If he can get his side to play more consistent rugby then they may be in with a chance. But if he can't, then at least he has got his excuses ready.
