Nine members of the All Black Tri Nations squad will turn out for their respective clubs and provinces this weekend.

And Tri Nations hopeful Daniel Braid is also set to play in the Auckland club competition in a bid to prove he is ready for a recall to cover for the injured Richie McCaw.

Waikato are the biggest winner in terms of available test squad members, with Stephen Donald, Richard Kahui, Sione Lauaki and Kevin O'Neill all being released to play against Japanese club team Suntory on Sunday afternoon.

The match will be played at Waihi.

Wellington have been boosted with the availability of both flanker Chris Masoe and prop Neemia Tialata for their pre-season clash against Otago on Friday.

It will be a busy weekend for Tialata, who is also set to line-up for club team Petone on Saturday afternoon.

Wing Anthony Tuitavake and halfback Jimmy Cowan are also set to play for their provinces in the next few days.

Tuitavake will start for North Harbour against Bay of Plenty in Tauranga on Friday.

Cowan is expected to play for Southland against Canterbury in another pre-season clash on Saturday.

The other Tri Nations squad member released for action over the weekend is back-up hooker Keven Mealamu who will play for his Otahuhu club.
