ABs victory over Ireland 'frightening'

The All Blacks performance against Ireland in the Third Test was almost frightening in its ambition and execution, says prominent UK rugby commentator Brian Moore.

The All Blacks thrashed Ireland 60-0 in the Third Test in Hamilton.

"In truth, last Saturday was the immovable and the emasculated; the monolithic Kiwis executing the basics and much more with alacrity against Ireland, physically and mentality drained from their narrow loss seven days previously," he says in his column for The Telegraph on Monday.

"Sonny Bill Williams showed a wider range of skills than most of his global peers - and that without the presence of Ma Nonu and Dan Carter.

"New Zealand illustrated perfectly how they, better than any other Union, incrementally introduce new talent while retaining sufficient experience to ensure they have the fullest chance to perform."

Moore says it was a heartbreaking loss for the Irish.

"To see the mighty Brian O'Driscoll close to tears of frustration after the loss was an uncomfortable sight; given the talent around him over his career, his should be better memories."

Moore, a former England and British Lions rugby union hooker, is considered to be the UK's most forthright rugby commentator.
