New Zealand Jumps Inc says it will pay a travel subsidy to the owners and trainers of hurdlers and steeplechasers that compete outside their home region.
The subsidy would be a small way of easing concerns over the costs of travel because of high fuel prices, NZ Jumps Inc secretary Andre Klein said.
