Jesse Sergent won gold in the 2005 team pursuit at the Junior World Championships, bronze in the individual pursuit at the 2006 Junior Worlds and placed 10th in the Omnium at the 2007 Elite World Championships.

He was part of the squad that won the silver medal in the team pursuit.
