Highlights

Samuel Bewley joins the New Zealand Olympic Team this year after numerous successes in recent years.

Bewley won a silver medal in the individual pursuit at the 2005 UCI World Junior Championships in Austria. He then joined the New Zealand team and, beating Great Britain, won the gold medal in the team pursuit.

He finished fourth at the 2008 World Championships. He is part of the BikeNZ High Performance squad, which ranked third in the UCI World Cup over 2007-2008.
