England beats Kiwis in Four Nations

Newstalk ZB - November 8, 2009, 9:10 am

The Kiwis have been bundled out of the rugby league Four Nations tournament by England.

England has won 20-12 in Huddersfield and now goes through to the final against Australia.

After the Kiwis were trailing 18-6 at halftime, a converted try to Ben Matulino straight after the break put them back in the match.

But Kevin Sinfield kicked a penalty with 10 minutes remaining to seal the win for the hosts.

Sinfield says they are regaining confidence.

The Kangaroos have confirmed their place in the final of the tournament, with a 42-4 thrashing of France in Paris.

Michael Jennings scored a hat-trick of tries for Australia, while twins Brett and Josh Morris each scored twice
