Steve Price is taking his dumping as Warriors captain on the chin.

Price admits he was shocked to be told by coach Ivan Cleary he was being replaced after five years at the helm. He says he did not see it coming.

Price says Mannering has to be allowed to be himself and he will support him as much as possible in the captaincy role.
