A blow for the Kiwis ahead of Sunday morning's Four Nations test against England in Huddersfield.
Utility forward Greg Eastwood is out of the rest of the campaign after breaking a bone in his left hand during last weekend's 62-12 win over France in Toulouse. He has had a cast put on his left arm after X-rays revealed a fracture.
The Leeds-bound 22-year-old said the injury happened when he fended off a French player soon after being brought onto the field from the interchange bench in the 25th minute of the game.
He is expected to be in plaster for six weeks.
