The Trade Minister's on his way to the Pacific Islands for trade talks.
Tim Groser will visit Samoa, Tonga, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu over the next five days.
His flight to the quake and tsunami-damaged Solomons will also deliver relief supplies into Honiara, such as shelter and sanitation kits, tarpaulins, water containers and chainsaw packs.
Mr Groser says New Zealand is an important trading partner for many Pacific neighbours.
He'll also discuss his candidature for the World Trade Organisation's position as Director-General, and will be formally seeking support for the role.
