IOC boss Rogge declares Games closed

The London Olympics were officially closed on Sunday by International Olympic Committee president Jacques Rogge.

"In accordance with tradition I declare the Games of the XXX Olympiad closed, and I call upon the youth of the world to assemble four years from now in Rio de Janeiro to celebrate the Games of the XXXI Olympiad," Rogge said at the closing ceremony.

The Rio de Janeiro Games are in 2016. Sochi hosts the 2014 Winter Olympics.
