He's become inundated with commitments since winning gold with Eric Murray in the men's pair in London.
Bond says he's been surprised how busy he's been, but the festive period gives him some respite.
He says it's important to have some time away from the scene, to work out what they're going to do in the months going forward.
Hamish Bond has yet to commit to the Rio Olympics.
