A homeless man is due to appear in an Adelaide court charged with assaulting another homeless man who is in a critical condition.
The 41-year-old victim, of no fixed place, was found unconscious by friends on Friday night in a camp in the South Parklands, which borders the city centre.
He's being treated at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
Police on Monday said a 29-year-old man, also of no fixed place, had been charged with causing serious harm.
He was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
