Australian audiences took him to their hearts with Spicks and Specks and now Adam Hills has been snapped up by the UK's Channel 4 to expand on his Paralympic series, The Last Leg.
Insider website TV Tonight reports Hills will be recreating the show he hosted live during the Games that used an edgy humour to break down the barriers over disability.
Hailed as a breakthrough show in Britain, Hills will now film a Christmas special and return with a new season in 2013, broadening its content beyond the Paralympics.
However the comedian hasn't abandoned his home, assuring fans in a tweet that he will still film a series of his show, Adam Hills in Gordon St Tonight, for the ABC.
