Wallabies beat England 18-9

Newstalk ZB - November 8, 2009, 7:13 am

A dominant second half performance has given the Wallabies a comfortable 18-9 win over England at Twickenham.

England led 9-5 at halftime after Jonny Wilkinson's two penalties and a drop goal cancelled out Australian halfback Will Genia's try.

Matt Giteau added two second half penalties before Adam Ashley-Cooper sealed the win with the late try.

Giteau says while it may have looked comfortable it was anything but.

He says they blew a couple of chances which they will hopefully take in their next match.

Genia has been named man of the match.

Australia face Ireland next Monday before games against Scotland and Wales.
