Wheel Blacks trump Japan

The New Zealand wheelchair rugby team have maintained their unbeaten record at the Asia Oceania championships with a 52-46 win over Japan 52-46 at Christchurch today.

New Zealand led 29-23 at halftime, before kicking away from Japan in the third quarter.

New Zealand will square off against Australia tomorrow in a match which will decide the top qualifiers.

In other matches today, Australia beat South Africa 61-38 and Korea beat South Africa 53-38.
