Benitez upsets Chelsea players on day TWO

Chelsea players are furious after a slip by Rafa Benitez yesterday.

The Daily Star says Benitez has had a bust-up with TWO senior Chelsea stars just TWO days into the job.

The Spaniard scored a massive own goal when he revealed Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole won't be getting new contracts at the club - without the players knowing the fact themselves.

Benitez caused outrage in the dressing room by letting slip the pair's time at Stamford Bridge was up.

Lampard in particular was seething as, although it has been widely assumed they were not likely to get new deals when their contracts expire this summer, they have had no actual confirmation from the club.
