Australia's tennis campaign at the London Olympics is over with Lleyton Hewitt and Sam Stosur losing their mixed-doubles quarter-final to Great Britain pair Andy Murray and Laura Robson.
The hosts won 6-3 3-6 10-8, Great Britain converting on their first match point in the super tie-breaker on Hewitt's serve, with Stosur's volley crashing into the net.
It completes a disappointing time of it at Wimbledon for the Australians - who won just three of their eight matches, with only Hewitt in the men's singles advancing to the third round while teen Bernard Tomic and Stosur lost in the first round singles.
Murray, who on Friday beat Novak Djokovic to set up a singles gold medal clash against world No.1 Roger Federer on Sunday, will have to back up with Robson again on Saturday afternoon when they play their semi-final against German pair Sabine Lisicki and Christopher Kas.6-4 7(10)-6

The Players ended nearly two weeks ago and it’s long past time to move on and talk about golf.
@KenBobPryde hmmm, reminds me a bit of another echo chamber.
Tough to wake up on the day of the draw for a slam and not be in it! Was hoping it was a bad dream... #reality
