Bongard appointed to netball board

Former Fisher and Paykel managing director and chief executive John Bongard has been appointed to the Netball New Zealand board.

Bongard replaces David Jackson, who finished his term with the board and is moving overseas.

Netball New Zealand board chairwoman Raewyn Lovett said Bongard brought " incredible business acumen and experience with sponsorship in sport" to the position.

The appointment is effective immediately.
