Magic signs schoolgirl

The Waikato/Bay of Plenty Magic have completed their playing roster for next year's ANZ Netball Championship with the signing of Mt Maunganui schoolgirl Amy Christophers.

The 17-year-old Otumoetai College student says she is "stoked and surprised to join some of the best players in the world" in the Magic squad. Apart from netball, Christophers has also reached national age group levels in volleyball and athletics.

The Magic squad for 2010 is: Jodi Brown, Amy Christopher, Tanya Lund, Laura Langman, Elias Shadrock, Peta Scholz, Frances Solia, Jodi Tod, Jess Tuki, Irene van Dyk, Kahurangi Waititi, Casey Williams.
