Steel keeps playoff hopes alive

The Southern Steel beat the NSW Swifts 55-48 in their final regular season match at Invercargill today to keep their hopes of making the tran-Tasman netball league playoffs alive.

The fate of the Steel now rest on the final match of the round on Monday between fellow top four contenders the Queensland Firebirds and the West Coast Fever in Perth.
