    Its half time in the league. Thought i'd have a look as there's not much else to watch. I've heard how good we think our league team is and how consistant this team is. The skill level,the vision and discipline is atrocious. We are full of cheap shot thugs. The only player with any skill in the whole game is the English full back. A horrible spectacle if your trying to premote a minority sport.

    When I was at school the national school tournament was full of union players who played league just to go to the tournament.
    Most of the top athletes end up in union in NZ mate , no question about it .
    League looks good in the NRL because the competition although weak looks good because there is nothing else.
    If you look at the itm cup here in union and it was all you had to look at you would think we were amazing because the lack of defense makes it look good but when those same players step up to test level they are quickly found out.
    League supporters also suffer from small mans syndrome and will quickly jump to the defence of league but let's face it league has a long way to go to catch union

    nah..union is boring to watch.. i prefer league any day.
    nz only has one nrl team,how the f-k do you expect the national league team to beat the aussies when we only have 2 test series to play together?they have alot more tests to gel as a team...
    get over your onw small man syndrome and accept that league is growing..

    it hasnt been around as long in nz as lugby....schools are actually giving in to the requests of students to include a league team...
