Wellington golf professional Mark Brown has recorded his best finish in the OneAsia Tour and for 2012 with a share of fifth place in the Thailand Open.
Brown, 37, carded a seven under par 65 in the final round at the Suwan Golf & Country Club on Sunday to finish on an 18 under par total, and a prize purse of $NZ46,550.
With rounds of 70, 65, 70 and 65 he was five shots behind England's Chris Wood who won by two shots from Korean Dong-kyu Jang.
Fellow Wellington pro Gareth Paddison carded rounds of 70, 67, 67 and 70 to claim a share of 22nd place and earn $12,000.
