Liverpool, Juventus in contact with Barcelona striker Villa

Liverpool and Juventus are monitoring David Villa's situation at Barcelona.

The experienced striker is currently recovering from knee surgery and hopes to be back in time to make Spain's Euros squad this summer.

Cadena Ser says Juve and Liverpool have already been in contact with Villa's camp and will watch closely his recovery with the view to making offers for the striker this summer.

Now 30, Villa is still rated at £30 million-plus by Barca.
