Palacio delighted to be on mark for Inter Milan

Rodrigo Palacio was eager to score his first goal for Inter Milan.

The former Genoa man struck in the 1-1 draw with Celtic.

"I scored a good goal on a difficult ball, as it was coming at me very quickly," said Palacio.

"It was important that we didn't emerge from Celtic Park with a defeat so we can go into Thursday's game in Split with more confidence.

"We are working hard to be ready for both the Europa League and Serie A. I am dreaming of another goal in my official Inter debut."
