Ex-Barcelona boss Guardiola serious about his year in New York

Former Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola intends to spend the year in New York with his family.

Guardiola is eager to learn English and "learn the American way".

He told Beinsport: "While in New York, I would like to learn more about the American way, I hope to improve my English and also my children, that's what we will do in the next year."

Asked if he could now watch Barca as a fan, Guardiola added: "As a coach. I'm always coach."
