Barcelona chiefs excited to welcome Arsenal's Alex Song

Barcelona chiefs are delighted with their deal for Arsenal midfielder Alex Song.

Song will undergo a Barca medical today.

After victory over Real Sociedad, Barca coach Tito Vilanova remarked: "He's a footballer that gives us a bit of height. He'll surprise us with his skill, he's a great player."

And Barca sports chief Andoni Zubizarreta also said: "We were looking for a player to help us in midfield and also as a centre with a physical presence. He has features to help us much."
