Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has cooled talk surrounding his clubs pursuit of Arsenal captain Robin van Persie.
The Dutch striker has been heavily linked with the Red Devils in recent months and although Ferguson has confirmed interest in his services, he was remaining realistic about signing the star striker from United's Premier League rivals.
"Obviously Arsenal have given out the fact that we've made a bid for him," he told MUTV.
"We try to keep business as close as possible to us until the moment we conclude a deal.
"There's no point talking about something that might not happen.
"There are other clubs interested in the player. We've shown an interest and that's where we're at at the moment."

I real hate what arsenal is doing, it's a decision of player to choose a clud which has a potential of making him a big player and a winner.
ReplyI think Sir Alex Ferguson is playing with my heart I dont want any broken heart. MAN UNITED need players like Lucas Moura, Ganso and the replacement at leftback.
