Real Betis coach Mel leaves Tottenham's Giovani to Malaga

Real Betis coach Pepe Mel is leaving Tottenham winger Giovani dos Santos to Malaga.
Both Primera Division clubs have been chasing the Mexico international.
But Mel says: "Whoever can come is not Gio dos Santos. Never our intention. He's a media signing, we are not willing to sign such players. The more we talk about names, the more problems we have."
