Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy won't countenance selling star duo Gareth Bale and Luka Modric.

The Daily Mail says Levy is working to ensure prized-assets Modric and Bale remain at Spurs.

Modric is a target for Real Madrid, Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain, while Bale has long been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane.

But with the appointment of a new manager on the horizon, Levy is determined as ever to keep the current squad in tact.
