We all need to chill and have a laugh after a Monday at work (or is that just me?) so it's time for our weekly caption contest.

Last week failed to hit the highs of the previous week - I suspect because too many people were still suffering from the Kiwis' thumping at the hands of the Kangaroos and weren't quite ready to find any humour in it.

Still, two comments raised a laugh in the Yahoo!Xtra office. The winner was we4kings with the satirical "Whanganui bro wh wh thats right purse your lips you'll get it".

Congratulations we4kings - you get bragging rights this week, and I've also sent your e-mail address to Michael Laws so he can have a word in your ear.

In second place was sua with their nod to "Silence of the Lambs" - "Roy: That was a terrible call Benji, what you think? Benji: "Fava beans and a nice Chianti, ref ... I'm gonna eat your liver".

Perhaps a little drastic, but given some of the calls not out of the bounds of decency, I think.

Oh, and sua - you get an extra mention for invoking my own name in one of the comments, however I had to disqualify it for being inaccurate.

Both Roy and Benji would have been cracking up if they had seen me trying on one of those super-tight fitting Kangaroos shirts.

So on to this week:

Michael Phelps (goatee beard and all) made his long-awaited return to the pool this week after a suspension for being photographed with a cannabis pipe - although he didn't quite hit the highs of his Olympic medal haul.

Frenchman Frederick Bousquet beat the Olympic legend over their 100m freestyle showdown and then (in my imagination) took some time out to talk a little trash with the American.

So what exactly is Bousquet saying to Phelps?

"Eh Michael. Iz zat beard a disguise so zat ze News of Ze World doesn't recognize you at ze next party?"
