Get your scores in and win
October 02, 2009

Here's your chance to win a whopping 300 dollar voucher from the Lone Star Cafe and Bar.
This time, it couldn't be more straightforward.
I simply want your scoreline prediction along with the winner and loser of the NRL Final this Sunday between the Storm and the Eels.
The 300 dollar voucher will only be won by an entry picking the exact scoreline and the winner and loser.
Only one entry can win which means in the case of more than one correct entry, the prize will go to the first to answer correctly.
This competition will close one hour before kick-off.
In the event of no correct entries, the prize will jackpot to a 400 dollar voucher for the next Man in the Stand competition.
What a hell of a ride these finals have produced to date? To me, they really have shown that the gap between top rugby and rugby league involving flow, fitness and finesse is a mile wide.
Rugby law-makers should be downright ashamed of the sorry condition they've brought the game to.
Sadly, rugby games are now more often than not, simply stop-start, shambolic bore-fests. All I can say is that we owe the sporting gods plenty for balancing this situation with the high-octane excitement of the NRL.
What a classic encounter awaits us on Sunday.
A blue ribbon team oozing with recent Finals experience up against the most dangerous of underdogs in living memory.
Maybe anyone or all of the following statistics will help with you with your predictions.
The Eels have not won the premiership for 23 years.
The Eels have won 10 of their last 11 games in 2009.
The Eels beat the Storm 18-16 in their last encounter in Round 19.
The Eels have already beaten the top 3 sides in this year's minor premiership in the Finals, namely the Dragons, the Bulldogs and the Titans.
The Storm have appeared in four Finals in the last decade.
The Storm have featured in the last three Finals, winning once.
The Storm have posted 148 points in their last four games and have conceded just 26.
The Storm lost 0–40 to Manly in last year's final, a memory they will be keen to erase.
Will the Storm's coach, Craig Bellamy end the year on a tremendous high after a disappointing 2009 State of Origin series as coach of New South Wales?
Or will the Eels' coach, Daniel Anderson prove that he really is one of the best in the business by taking the Eels from eighth position in the minor premiership to 2009 Champions?
Odd to think isn't it that Anderson was once the coach of the Warriors!
I look forward to receiving your entry. Good luck!
