With the NHL on hiatus ice hockey around the world is getting plenty of attention as fans strive for some action.
But the attention that Craig Peacock of the Belfast Giants is getting probably isn't the kind he'd want.
The Giants star opened the scoring in the game against the Fife Flyers earlier this week, but was forced out of the game.
The reason? A skate blade to the upper limit that left him with 29 stitches:
Peacock was keen to assure the fans he was okay, but also invited those with a strong stomach to look at the wound before the doctor came to it.
This is definitely a bit gruesome and we wouldn't recommend viewing it unless you're sure...
Are you really sure you want to see it?
