That's one way to end a bout!

Admit it, there have been times when a sporting official has annoyed you so much that you've threatened physical violence.

Thankfully it's just a tiny percentage of morons who actually do hit those in charge. Well, morons and this Croatian boxer:

The bout between Kristen Radan, the boxer who punched the referee and Slovenia's Blaz Sedej was a bit of a slobberknocker.

The punches were coming hard and wild but some kind of brain fart happened when the referee came close to Radan and he just smashed him.

When the referee came to his senses he, unsurprisingly, disqualified Radan and awarded Sedej the victory.

Is it wrong for us to hope Quade Cooper does this when he steps in the ring for the first time?

The short guy is a better boxer cos he keeps his guard up at all times & is punching the most but the taller boxer keeps his guard down & looks like he has run out of steam - then he hugs the shorter boxer cos he is to tired & not winning - that is why the Referee stepped in, looked deliberate when he bunched the Referee.

"Slobberknocker". I just learned a new word, whatever the hell it means. I'll file it away in the same useless-language garbage can as "gobsmacked" and "Kim Kardashian".
