Patty Who?

American point guard Russell Westbrook clearly isn't losing sleep over the possibility of going head to head with Australian star Patty Mills at the London Olympics.

The Dream Team are expected to make light work of most of their opposition at the 2012 Games, and it's clear - in Westbrook's case at least - they're more focused on themselves than their rivals.

"Who?" said Westbrook when asked his thoughts on San Antonio back-up guard Mills, the only NBA player on the Boomers roster with centre Andrew Bogut unavailable due to an ankle injury.

"Oh yeah, Patty, I know a little bit.

"I've seen them (Australia) play, they have a good team, he (Mills) should be alright."

That was as far as Westbrook went on Mills.

Fellow point guard Deron Williams was a little more complimentary as the US team's NBA star-studded line-up was mobbed by reporters during a 40-minute media session.

"Patty's a tough point guard, excels in international play - they could do some damage," Williams said.

"He's a guy that can definitely put some points on the board.

"He's very tough to guard, especially in this setting when he has the ball in his hands and he really has the green light."

But Williams admitted the absence of Bogut would be a blow.
